The Grammys might be all about the music, but the red carpet is where the real fashion show happens.

First, I have to say it’s a total coincidence that almost all the best dressed on my list are wearing black. There is a part of me that truly wishes I could pull  the vibrant Versace outfit that Taylor Swift was wearing, but all I can see is a pair of panties on which someone stapled fabric at the last minute. The same goes for the  sparkling and revealing gown Selene Gomez—usually one of my red carpet favorites—chose to wear. It looks more like a cliché sexy pop star piece than a well-thought-out outfit.

On my “you take my breath away” list—now you have the song stuck in your head, don’t you—you can find a lot of sober gowns that are simply well accesorised.

Bella Hadid

We took bets at Dress To Kill regarding who will chose to wear an Alexandre Vauthier‘s creation for the Grammys, and no one could have worn it better than Miss Bella Hadid. Bonus points for the uber fancy Bvlgari accessories. She’s also smoking hot and totally stealing the spotlight from her nominated boyfriend The Weeknd (Abel Makkonen).

Josephine de La Baume

I wish I was able to call Josephine directly to know which designer/brand/vintage gown she was wearing. Since we are not bff’s, I will simply keep stalking her Instagram page until she shares the name behind her red carpet ouftift.

Now that is what I call a sophisticated gala outfit! You can always count on Adele to adopt a timeless elegant gown on the red carpet. Here, she shines in an all-black-everything creation by Givenchy with shiny accents. We also need to talk about her super simple new hairdo that adds a modern touch to her whole outfit.

Chrissy Teigen

Thak you Chrissy for showing us how to rock the pregnancy style with grace and elegance.
