Anchal designers, Colleen Clines and Devon Miller, share the belief that design has a global impact, and that building businesses in an ethical manner benefits consumers, producers and retailers alike. Their brand is part of the increasing number of conscientious companies that are working to develop the market into a more sustainable system. They hire women workers and artisans in India to make garments out of recycled vintage sari fabrics, which gives them their signature look and feel. The unique textiles are quilted into a diverse selection of apparel.

For the launch of their capsule collection called Urban Renewal, Anchal have presented 12 designs during a fashion show that included dresses, jackets, sweaters, and accessories. Each purchase will help create opportunity and build independence for women in India and around the world, available at Urban Outfitters, in-store and online (except Quebec).
