There is always something magical about a runway show as the music begins and the lights dim and then raise again about to reveal the masterpieces to come. This level of excitement was seen before, during and after the 25th annual Carmen Marc Valvo spring 2015 show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

This collection was a show in itself each outfit was stunning featuring womenswear, and swimwear. The 25th anniversary also marked the premier of Carmen Marc Valvo’s menswear. The show began with the ever so catchy song “sweet dreams” as it inspired the beautiful organza florals dresses says Mr Valvo. White outfits with red and blue florals with black embellishment and belts created a look everyone will sure be dreaming about. His collection was inspired by the American dream and the sweetness and innocence of the dream, along with the silver and mesh as a symbol of those working to produce the dream. Mesh cutout women’s bathing suits followed that were later layered with blue and white sheer flowing skirts and black shoulder straps and belts. The hair for all the women continued this aerodynamic look with a strong silver streak. Belted waits and mesh has been a constant trend at Fashion week and will be perfect for creating a strong yet feminine look.

The premier of the menswear was a marvellous surprise for all. The men also supported this cool sheer look while walking in sheer tuxedo tops paired with black pants. Two other fabulous men’s looks were the white tuxedo paired with rolled white short a casual take on the tuxedo. Second was the metallic tuxedo jacket with silver organza shirt was stunning. The finally evening wear for women’s included silver metallic shirts with large flowing skirts and black waisted belts. One of the most stunning piece was the cobalt black nude mesh gown with the perfect amount of subtle sheer cut outs.

An outstanding show that was both strong and soft with stunning florals, cut outs, mesh and new mens wear which is sure to be a huge success. Here is to another 25 more years. Congratulations Mr Valvo.
