Chanel impressed the world once again at Grand Palais.

On March 8th, Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel Fall/Winter 16/17 Ready-to-Wear collection at Grand Palais in Paris. To ensure everyone could clearly see the collection, the chairs were placed back-to-back in a traditional salon, so every guest got a front-row experience. This way, the focus was mainly on the clothes, in contrast to Chanel‘s previous shows where the setting and concept—a grocery store, airplane, and casino—almost stole the thunder from the runway pieces.

Chanel‘s signature tweed fabric was the star of the show, depicted in the classic black and grey, but also with a pop of colour in reds and fuchsias. Celebrities  Pharrell Williams, Anna Mouglalis, Willow Smith, Isabelle Huppert, and Taiwanese singer Jay Chou all applauded the collection.
