All the best from the new Converse collection.

Even though I work in fashion, I don’t go crazy over shoes. I don’t faint at the sight of a pair of Manolo Blahnik heels and I don’t feel like spending all my money on fancy footwear. I simply want shoes that are fashionable, timeless, and comfortable. That might explain why I have a special place in my heart (and in my wardrobe) for everything that Converse creates.

For spring, they introduce us to the latest incarnation of the Chuck Taylor All Star II, made with innovative materials and bold patterns. Looking at the new models, I can’t help but fall in love with some of the prints and patterns that seem to have been created specifically for my taste.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Knit

This version of the Chuck Taylor promises to follow you from spring to summer without letting you down in the style department, and it just screams music-festival ready. The woven texturized patterns are available in volt green, black, road trip blue, red, white, and spray paint blue.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Crochet

Probably the most talked about model at the press presentation, the Chuck Taylor All Star Crochet appeals to your boho side while making you wish summer was already here. With lining at the bottom and an airy fabric, the crochet design promises to keep your feet light and cool through the hot season. The shoes come in parchment, navy, white, and almost black.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Oil Slick

This very colorful new collection gives off the impression that you have traveled back in time to the 1980s, but without the tacky factor. Probably my favorite incarnation of the Chuck Taylor for this season, the iridescent sneaker is available in leather and rubber with colours like egret, black, purple dusk, and motel pool.
