So COS is coming to Montreal and Toronto next month, and everybody who cares a little bit about fashion is kind of freaking out.

COS (Collection of Style) is the high end sister brand of H&M, and offers collections for the whole very stylish family. If you’re not familiar with the brand, you should know that their collections are all about minimalist designs, their clothes and accessories will make you street-style royalty.

Despite the fact that it is a Swedish label, the whole aesthetic of the brand is very Japanese avant-garde, and it might not be the cup of tea for those of you lusting after bondage dresses.  Yes, the prices are a little higher than H&M’s, but the quality is also much better. To be honest, COS is the budget friendly version of that Céline coat you have been obsessing over, or that perfect “it” girl handbag you thought you could never afford.

As someone trying to dress more like an adult, COS seems like the perfect solution for updating my wardrobe, without having to look like a sad version of myself. I started shopping my selection for fall through their website, while screaming in my head with excitement over the perfect grey and cream oversize coats. Even the texture and print addict will find something for their taste through the fringing sweaters and printed shirts. Take a look at my selection below to ease the wait until COS opens up this October.
