It’s time to be gentle and go for soft exfoliation, soft cleanser and rich moisturizers. Put those body scrubs away, because you won’t need them with this 2-step way to get rid of dead skin cells, and you’ll revitalize your legs or body with a surge of moisture while you treat yourself to a little spa evening.

1. Before showering, apply a 10% glycolic acid moisturizer such as Reversa on unwashed skin. Let the lotion sink for at least 15 minutes, or longer, while you watch a movie or read. The gentle glycolic acid in the cream will start to loosen the cells at the surface.

2. While sitting in the bath, and before running the water for a shower or bath, massage a body-oil into the skin. Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse is a great choice. It has a fine mist spray that evenly distributes the natural oil blend over the skin. You’ll see immediate results, as the oil lifts all the dead cells at the surface.

Be gentle with your skin by washing your body with very mild detergents such as L’Occitane’s Sweet Almond Shower Oil. It still lathers, but it won’t strip the skin, and it’s rich in natural oils. After a shower, apply a good body moisturizer, and to help to seal-in the hydrating properties of the cream, spray a little body-oil.
