What happens when you send three editors on a mission to find the best beauty products at a drugstore…with only 30$ each!

L’ORÉAL Voluminous Mascar in Carbon Black ($6,97).

” It used to be my go-to mascara when I was in high school and still come back to it from time to time. Since I am a natural blonde (chuuuut) my lashes are super light and thin. This mascara makes them look like falsies and don’t run on my eyelids throughout the day.”

GOT2B Dazzling Shine Spray ($6,96).

Shine bright like diamond. Before knowing about the magic world of oils for hair, I was obsessed with that dazzling spray. It turns my hair into a luxurious mane worthy of a CW leading actress (aka all the cast of Pretty Little Liars). Each time I am visiting a drugstore, I have the reflex of grabbing a bottle “just in case” I find myself in hair emergency situation.”

MAYBELLINE NEW YORK Vivid Matte Liquid Lipcolor in Rebel Red ($10,96).

” Obviously, I have to try ALL the matte lipsticks that are new on the market. This one get the job done without leaving my lips chapped  like someone who tried to hook up with sand paper.”

CAUDALIE Grape Water ($14).

“So obviously, spending only $30 for three products is not the easiest thing to do. For me, beauty is luxury, so I tend to splurge on it when I need something new (or want something new… because who really needs makeup, right?). That being said, I have a few must-have products that I like to buy at the drugstore. I always like to keep a travel-sized CAUDALIE Grape Water in my bag to refresh my complexion on the go. This organic formula increases hydration and reduces sensitivity while having anti-inflammatory properties. This versatile mist can be used as a toner, as a setting spray before applying makeup, to sooth rosacea, and to refresh and hydrate the skin throughout the day.”

KLORANE Smoothing and Relaxing Patches ($15.99).

“I absolutely love KLORANE Smoothing and Relaxing Patches because they soften, moisturize, and smooth away lines around the eye area while also reducing puffiness. They are my favorite masks to buy at the drugstore!”

Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel ($18).

“Ok … Ok… I know .. the challenge was 30$ maximum… But let’s be honest, we all knew that I wouldn’t be able to spend only that amount on that many products. I would much rather spend more on products that I actually need than buy cheaper products that I don’t want. So for my last product, I chose to spend on my favorite face cleanser from Clarins. The Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel is a soap-free cleansing and makeup removal gel that neutralizes the effects of hard water while the creamy foam eliminates impurities and makeup and leaves skin perfectly clean, fresh, and radiant.”

NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Vintage ($10).

I love a good matte lipstick that stays put throughout the day. I’m that girl who’ll have lipstick on her forehead by the end of the day if the formula is not super “everything” proof. This one actually stays put after hours of snacking, drinking, walking, etc.  I’m also feeling the dark colored lip trend for fall, so I’m dipping my toe in the water by wearing this burgundy look for spring.

COVERGIRL Clump Crusher Mascara ($11).

Curved double sided brush? Check. Clump free formula? Check. Volumizing? Check. Gentle with my bank account? Check. Check. Check.

OLAY Wet Cleansing Cloths ($14).

I’m very picky when it comes to wipes. None of them have made the cut besides this gift from the heavens by Olay. I appreciate the thickness of the wipes and the fact that the formula doesn’t irritate my skin. Bonus points for being alcohol free and containing Vitamin E.
