On May 31st, FENDI revealed its first ever joint Fashion Show for the Maison, in Shanghai.  The  pivotal event took place at the Powerlong Museum, a  modern 23,000 square meter museum which is dedicated to promoting domestic and international contemporary art. The spherical interior enticed fluidity as the Maison presented the two iconic collections in celebration of Karl Lagerfeld’s heritage. The presentation honoured Lagerfeld’s incomparable creativity and longest collaboration in fashion history which spanned 54 years. 


The F/W 2019-2020 men’s collection which was presented on January 14th, was the exclusive collaboration of Lagerfeld as a guest creative and who was selected by Silvia Venturini Fendi in celebration of their long withstanding creative connection. The F/W 2019-2020 women’s collection which debuted on February 21s, was the final collection created by Lagerfeld marking the closure of a chapter which began in 1965.

The Shanghai show included five new looks for Men and ten for Women which were created specifically for the presentation and featured internationals models and celebrities alike.
