Fenty Beauty welcomes Amandla Stenberg to the family. Rihanna’s beauty line, launched in September 2017, announced that strong advocate for equality and noted for her roles in The Hunger Games and The Hate U Give will now join the new generation of beauty fam.

It was only fitting that Stenberg hopped on board with the brand, that is dedicated to catering every skin tone, culture and race. Aligned with the Fenty brand DNA, she has not shied away from vocalizing her opinions about cultural appropriation, intersectional feminism, mindfulness, biracial identity, sexual identity, gender and beauty standards to name few. The newest ambassador has took to her Instagram to speak on the news and has since claimed:  “I wanted to become a part of the Fenty Family because it’s one of the few beauty brands that make me feel like myself! Fenty Beauty’s whole ethos makes me feel empowered and excited to let different facets of myself shine”.

As Fentys first celebrity ambassador, Stenberg alongside Rihanna, has fans impatiently waiting to see what looks she has up her sleeve for this upcoming season. Until then, she has shared her Fenty must-haves, claiming: “The Match Stix Matte and Shimmer Skinsticks are wonderful for on-the-go highlighting and bronzing, and I’m always about having a lil glow going. Plus, they stick together with magnets, which ensure they’ll never break apart in your bag.”

Not a pro at makeup yet? Amandla gave us a glimpse into how she achieves her everyday makeup look using her Fenty Beauty essentials. She begins by creating a flawless complexion with Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation and Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Concealer, and then adds warmth with the NEW! Sun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer and Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Truffle. The result? A perfected complexion “that’s shaped for the gods, honey!” Amandla finishes her Fenty Face with Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in Rum for a subtle highlight and adds some color to her lids and lips with Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette and Stunna Lip Paint in Uncuffed because “the rules are, there are no rules.”
