“Gal’s Oscars beauty look was very much inspired by the combination of the beautiful silver Givenchy dress she was wearing, and the silver and blue Tiffany necklace. It had a modern art deco vibe to it. With the hair having a slight wave, it was important to me not to go fully twenties in order for the look not to be too much like a period piece, so I opted for a fresh and modern look. I wanted Gal to glow with a simple sparkly eye and a deep raspberry/wine lip to liven her face.”

MAKEUP BY: Sabrina Bedrani for Revlon

FACE:
• To create a clean, even base, skin was prepped with REVLON ColorStay Makeup in Warm Golden ($20.99) and set with REVLON ColorStay Pressed Powder in Light/Medium ($17.79).
REVLON PhotoReady Sunlit Dream Highlighting Palette (coming April 2018) was used to enhance the cheek bone and give Gal an extra glow.

EYES:
• For the soft shimmery look, Bedrani selected all crème shadows, starting with REVLON ColorStay Crème Eyeshadow in Crème Brûlée ($8.99) applied all over lids as well as in the inner corners to brighten the eyes. Next, REVLON ColorStay Crème Eye Shadow in Caramel ($8.99) was used in the crease and along the bottom lash line for added depth to the look.
• To further bring out the eyes, REVLON ColorStay 2-in-1 Kajal Liner in Onyx ($11.49) was drawn in a very thin line along the lash line, followed by top and bottom lashes brushed with 2 coats of REVLON Mega Multiplier Mascara ($11.49).

LIPS:
• To offset the eye look, Berdrani created a bold lip by first applying REVLON ColorStay Lipliner in Plum ($12.99) all over the lips followed by REVLON Super Lustrous Lipstick in Bombshell Red ($10.49) just in the middle to achieve the perfect deep raspberry/wine colour.

NAILS BY: Millie Machado for Revlon
INSPIRATION:
“I wanted to use a soft nude/pink colour to complement the pewter metallic gown Gal was wearing. The softer tones created the perfect warm contrast. I was inspired by a 1950s retro glam vibe, and added to that by creating a more almond shaped nail.”
NAILS:
• Machado first filed nails into an almond shape with a slight pointed tip, before applying REVLON Quick Dry Base Coat to Gal’s nails.
• Next nails were painted with 2 coats of REVLON Nail Enamel in Sheer Petal followed by REVLON Quick Dry Top Coat to seal the look.
