banner-gis-lvCarried by one of the biggest name in fashion, The FIFA World Cup Trophy will arrive in style on Sunday’s world cup finale.

For this year’s edition of the FIFA World Cup, Louis Vuitton has designed a special leather case to contain the Football World Cup trophy. It is the second time the brand has been commissioned to create the famous case (they did the one for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa as well). To present this exceptional object, Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen will be the one entering the pitch of the Maracana stadium on 13 July 2014. Symbol of the Brazilian woman and representing her country’s colours all over the world, she was a natural choice both for the French fashion house and the FIFA.

A 55 second video has been released by Vuitton, showing the details of the case and Miss Bündchen facing the camera through the cheers of a crowd. It ends with the following text: “A Louis Vuitton case protects the world’s most sought after trophy. Next stop Rio de Janeiro July 13, 2014”. Are you excited to watch the FIFA final?
