Gucci‘s latest campaign is L.A chic

British Photographer Glen Luchford took to the streets and subways of Los Angeles to show off the new coats, shoes, dresses and accessories Gucci has to offer. The photographs feature models Tessa Bruinsma, Lia Pavlova,  Sven de Vrie and Tobias Lundh. Red dresses, floral handbags, double breasted army coats and loafers with fur all make an appearance on the busy streets of L.A.

The collection is the first for Gucci designed by Creative Director Alessandro Michele, who recently took over after Frida Gianini stepped down. She was with Gucci since 2006.

When asked about his inspiration during an interview in the Huffington Post, Michele stated, “I believe there is a fluid and organic contamination that exists between the catwalk and the street. Fashion, especially ready-to-wear, is something real, made for every day and for everyone to express their own creativity and individuality.” We think the new Creative Director will be a breath of fresh air for Gucci.

To add to the campaign, a short video showcasing some of L.A’s beautiful scenery was put out. Check the video above and the new collection below!
