Rejoice for the latest edition of Happening Gourmand!

 

Taking place for the 11th year in a row from January 11 to February 4 2018, the annual Happening Gourmand puts the spotlight on nine restaurants—BEVO Bar + Pizzeria, Taverne Gaspar, Kyo Bar Japonais, Méchant Bœuf, Modavie, Suite 701, Verses, Maggie Oakes and Vieux-Port Steakhouse—all located in the Old Montreal. The restaurants will be preparing special lunch and dinner menus at a low cost for the event. They will also offer signature cocktails created especially for the occasion as well as teaming up with Igloofest to offer exclusive prices for their clients.

Looking at the restaurants event menus, you wish you had an extra stomach, or some super powers allowing you to eat as much as you want without getting full. It is rare that in a big city like Montreal to be able to enjoy this kind of gastronomic experience without having to break the bank, as this event is pretty much the equivalent of buying a lot of nice bottles of champagne on a beer budget.
