banner-givenchyKendall Jenner snags her first national ad campaign with Givenchy.

It’s official: Kendall Jenner is having a moment. After walking down the runway at Marc Jacobs and Chanel during the Fall 2014 shows and having her own feature in Vogue Paris, the reality star’s momentum doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon. Her latest gig has her posing alongside established models, Maria Carla Boscono and Julia Nobis, in the new Fall 2014 Givenchy campaign. Kendall sits in the lefthand corner of both ads, in the midst of models clad in luxurious furs, leather jackets, and patterned dresses.
Dark and moody, the campaign was shot by none other than famed fashion duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, known for creating images with stark and pigmented colours. Hair genius Sam McKnight was responsible for coiffing the models. He created a sleek look featuring straight, yet textured hair that is parted straight down the middle of the scalp. On the makeup front, Lucia Pieroni, Creative Director at Clé de Peau, painted on a gorgeous  crimson lip that has us debating whether or not we should throw away all the coral lipsticks we’ve been collecting for summer.
As exciting as a national campaign may be for the 18-year old model, she’s come under criticism for being favoured by the brand’s creative director Ricardo Tisci, who has a very close personal relationship with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
What do you think of the campaign? Is Mr.Tisci playing favourites or has Kendall already proven herself as a high fashion model?
