At Berlin Fashion Week, just a few weeks ago on January 16th, Marc Cain had a killer runway show featuring their Fall/Winter 2018 collection. The show, “Members Only” gave guests a club atmosphere filled with VIPs and industry influencers, including Lena Gercke, Lena Meyer-Landrut, Hannah Herzsprung, Yvonne Catterfeld, Stefanie Giesinger, Caro Daur, and Nina Seuss. Inspired by “Studio 54,” the location for the show was in an underground station under Potsdam Square, filled with neon strip lights, black-light, and graffiti by “URBAN NATION” artists.

The collection displayed the brand’s exquisite use of vivid colours and glitter, featured on top model Georgia Fowler.

The collection will have accentuating colours with new silhouettes, creating the exquisite modernity. Uncommon colour combinations of bright blues, corals, and oranges are mixed with bold prints – animal (find all the snakes hiding on these garments!), stripes and polka dots, and floral. Certainly, the collection isn’t missing any glitz or glam.

Don’t fret about the animals, this fur is faux! Some other fabrics included in this collection are plush, velvet, silk, cashmere, and wool giving the looks a certain sophistication.

These outfits are playful and young while still being modern and refined. No detail has gone unnoticed, especially not the accessories. Velvet and bright colours adorn not only the clothes, but also the matching bags and shoes.

One of the great things about Marc Cain is the ability to mix and match, these pieces were made to complement each other.

See below what season Fall/Winter 18 will be all about at Marc Cain with some of the best from the Berlin runway.
