Because it’s apero o’clock somewhere in the world!

If I am good at enjoying a well crafted drink from time to time, I have to admit that I am the not the most talented one when I have to play the wannabe mixologist. This is why I get pretty excited when I discover easy cocktail recipes that I can replicate all by myself at home.

With summer not far behind, I would like to share with you what are about to be my favorite drinks for the season. Ready, set, shake!

Floral Negroni

1 part MARTINI ROSSO Vermouth

1 part Bombay Sapphire Gin

1 part St. Germain Liqueur

1 orange slice

Take a lowball glass and tumble in ice cubes. Mix in the MARTINI ROSSO Vermouth, the Bombay Sapphire Gin, and the St-Germain Liqueur. Squeez the peel of an orange wedge.

The Privateer Old Fashioned

2 oz Appleton Estate Reserve Blend

 ¼ oz Maple syrup

½ bar spoon All spice dram

Combine all ingredients in a double old-fashioned glass. Add the cube and trim if necessary. Stir in the glass 20 times and garnish with the oil of lemon and orange. Place the long peels around the cube and cross them as the stick out of the glass.

Campari Orange

 ¼ oz Campari

3 parts orange juice

6 ice cubes

Place the ice cubes in a highball glass. Add the Campari and orange juice.
Add a slice of fresh orange and serve ice cold.

Cheers! And don’t forget to drink responsibly!
