Lady Gaga singing the national anthem in custom Gucci

Even though the internet just couldn’t stop comparing Gaga’s shiny outfit to a lot of things—from Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games to a dancing lobster—we have to give Gaga a big round of applause for her bold fashion choices. Only she could have worn a cherry red lurex outfit, created specially for her by Gucci designer Alessandro Michele, no less.

Beyonce paying tribute to Michael Jackson

The singer, who totally stole the show, was wearing an outfit by Dsquared2 reminiscent of the one  Michael Jackson wore in 1993 for his halft time performance. Beyonce also seized the occasion to officially announced her Formation world tour, kicking off April 27 in Miami.

Bruno Mars in Versace

You can count on Bruno Mars to add some rythm and a lot of hip-swaying any chance he gets to perform. For this show, alongside Coldplay and Beyonce, the singer channeled his inner ’80s hip hop singer in a leather oufit by Versace.

Chris Martin

This is the time to remember that the half-time show was officially a Coldplay performance after all. The band’s frontman Chris Martin wore a colorful t-shirt with symbols looking a lot like the cover of the their newest album A Head Full of Dreams. He also sported an armlet bearing the symbol for Global Citizen, a charity organization.
