The famous Valmont Group, who have mastered all things beauty, are now expanding into the art world. From October 5th-21st in New York City, the company is opening The Elegant Symmetry of the Gorilla, an exhibition that will present a collection of thirty pieces created by Didier Guillon, the President of Valmont Group and Foundation Valmont, in association with a selection of talented artists.

Guillon was inspired to last year after a visit to the Berlin Zoo, where he fell in love with the zoo’s most famous primate and mascot, Ivo the Gorilla. The art connoisseur immediately could envision an alternative reality of this elegant, cubist silhouette. The series of artistic tributes designed by Guillon portrays the quest of a gorilla in pursuit of happiness, utilizing a variety of media in several dimensions.

To celebrate the exhibition, Valmont has partnered with One Drop, an international non-profit organization dedicated to engaging communities to bring sustainable access to safe water. During the months of October and November 2018, Valmont will donate $10 to One Drop for every product sold at Saks Fifth Avenue New York and Spa Valmont at Plaza Athénée NYC. Valmont will also donate 100% sales of two artworks from the exhibition to One Drop.

The Elegant Symmetry of the Gorilla will be running from October 5 until October 21, 2018 at 393 Broadway, New York, New York 10013. Hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
