Audi Unveals the E-Tron
GT CONCEPT

This year, at the Los Angeles auto show, Audi unveils a more sporty all-electric concept car. This follows the release of the electric SUV unveiled earlier this year.

This version reportedly will have 590hp under the hood thanks to its two motors located in the front and back of the car. The E-Tron was developed closely with Porsche, who were able to tune the 4-door vehicle to go from 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds.

With the E-Tron GT, Audi is looking to push the limits of who far electric cars can go on a full charge. Thanks to a 90 kwh battery housed under the seating area, this model has an estimated range of over 240 miles. In addition to contactless charging via a special overnight charging pad, the E-Tron will support fast charging at 800 volts as it has been equipped with charging ports on both sides. Audi went the distance in making the E-Tron eco-friendly by including a vegan interior and a microfibre crafted from recycled fishnets.
