The popular outdoor event is back this year to celebrate it’s 14th anniversary in style.

The Fashion and Design Festival is happening this week in Montreal to the great pleasure of fashion enthusiasts. It will be the perfect occasion to discover talented local designers and catch up on the latest news regarding well known Canadian brands. FMD CollectionsWednesday August 19th 7: 00 PM

Presenting creations by three local designers – Bodybag by Jude, Harricana par Mariouche and Hip & Bone - the show will feature the best pieces by these designers, which are carefully selected by Stephen Jones. Jones is a reputed British milliner with thirty years of career experience who does a great honour to the festival by acting as this year’s Commissioner for the FMD Collections.

 

La Vie en Rose – Thursday August 20th 9:00 PM

It will be the 30th anniversary for the brand this fall and Festival Mode et Design is the perfect occasion to unveil exclusive pieces from the Fall/Winter 2015 collection. Promising to be the hottest fashion show of the week, this is one you definitely don’t want to miss, especially if you’re looking to stay in a summer state of mind.

 

 

Expose par Télio – Friday August 21st 5:50 PM

This show will present the works of breakthrough Canadian designers under the theme “from past to present”. Each year, Télio opens a contest to all current and active fashion design students for a chance to win a $15,000 scholarship. The “Expose” happening offers the finalists a unique chance to showcase their collections.

 

 

Numéro 15 – Saturday August 22nd 9:30 PM

This show, created in collaboration with MASSIVart, will celebrate its 15th anniversary at the festival. Mixing culture and fashion with technology, the public can expect a full hour of stylish throwbacks.
