The event provides a unique opportunity for guests to connect with the talented designers and creators of Montréal, explore their work, and hear stories of their inspired underpinnings.

Hosted from November 28th to December 2nd, the Souk @ SAT is nothing less than a remarkable showcase of Montréal’s design scene – this year celebrating their 15thedition. The Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) will once again be transformed into a loft-style bazaar, to house an array of unique and first-rate local designers presenting an exclusive market of outstanding creations.

Originally founded in 2003 by Azamit and Bruno Ricciardi-Rigault, this annual event has since gained significant admiration for its electric atmosphere. Azamit is known for being a Montreal style icon, brand builder, and creative connector who continuously seeks new talent and inspiration. She is the creative mind behind Souk @ SAT as well as the visual storytelling firm, In Toto, who will be producing a video of the event, in collaboration with Jesse Rivière, 5 Pound Media agency, and DJ Frigid. Bruno Ricciardi-Rigault, in the early days, served as an advisor for the Souk @ SAT; he is also the producer and program scheduler for the Espace SAT from 2000 to 2004 and is the successful owner of hipster hot spot, Laïka, located on St. Laurent Boulevard in Montréal.

For the 15thedition, the Souk @ SAT is partnering once again with Tourisme Montreal, with the aim of promoting the local design scene. Additionally, due to a partnership with Publicité Sauvage, 15 exquisite affiche (poster) varieties by graphic design studio Caserne have been exhibited to illustrate the event.

In an attempt to praise the most exceptional designers and creators, the Souk @ SAT once again engages expert panelists, this year including Alex Lesage (Threefold & Anniversary Magazine), Max Ruiz Laing (Bar Loïc), Muriel Françoise (journalist), Scott Meleskie (Clark Street Mercantile), and Trudy Crane (Lookslikewhite). This annual rendez-vous is the perfect place for individuals to delve into Montréal’s creative sphere, find original, modern, and clever gifts, as well as explore original and local culinary talent at the SAT’s Labo Culinaire - here’s to another 15!
