Never goes out of style
It all started when I was 12 years old, I discovered Chanel’s Classic 2.55 Quilted Leather Flap Shoulder Bag. It was the first time I had ever seen a handbag that had such a big cultural impact on the fashion industry. I was amazed by the timelessness of her designs and I was intrigued by the stories, the woman, the icon, and the products. From here, my obsession only grew further.
We first met years later at Holt Renfrew, when I bought “Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow” palette. It was my first luxury buy and most prized possession. Since that day, my respect and fondness for the brand has only been amplified.
My appreciation for Chanel had nothing to do with the fact that it’s luxurious, it was always about the woman and who she was. Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel learned the art of sewing while in an orphanage, and managed to make herself a successful business woman and the only fashion designer listed on Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people of the 20th century. She is known for liberating women from the corseted silhouette and promoting more casual, chic, and feminine style standards.

Chanel is not only synonymous with elegance and sophistication, Chanel represents determination, audacity, and ambition.
