Sophie Turner is the new star of Karen Millen’s Fall’14 Campaign

Best known for her role as Sansa Stark in the nom­i­nated Golden Globes HBO series “Game Of Thrones”, up and com­ing Eng­lish actress Sophie Turner brings her red-haired beauty to Karen Millen’s Fall’14 Campaign.

At only eigh­teen years old, Eng­lish actress Sophie Turner has already been nom­i­nated for the Young Artist Award for Best Sup­port­ing Young Actress in a Tv Series for her out­stand­ing per­for­mance as Sansa Stark. After being approached to be the face of Karen Millen’s Fall’14 Cam­paign, the young actress seems to be the per­fect match for the British high street brand who has recently under­gone a suc­cess­ful rebrand­ing change in hopes to draw in hip younger clients.

Every­thing in the col­lec­tion is designed in-house and the brand stands for indi­vid­ual, well-made pieces that tran­scend the sea­sons and the clothes really speak for them­selves in the Jour­ney cam­paign video shot by photographer/director Glen Luchford. “The idea behind the cam­paign is to bring our brand world and our woman to life. It is designed to give an evoca­tive snap­shot into the energy and cre­ativ­ity of Lon­don, where our inspi­ra­tion is drawn from and the KM ate­lier is based,” explained Gemma Mether­ing­ham, KM’s chief cre­ative offi­cer. “The KM woman has both style and sub­stance: She’s mem­o­rable, with a strong char­ac­ter. Sophie is not only very tal­ented, but she also has a great per­son­al­ity and pow­er­ful energy, in addi­tion to being incred­i­bly beautiful.”

In par­al­lel with the KMJour­ney cam­paign, the retailer will be also host­ing a pop-up shop for six weeks begin­ning Sept. 1 at its Bromp­ton Road loca­tion. The pop-up shop will fea­ture 15 statement-stating fall coats that have been curated selec­tively where cus­tomiza­tion in a vari­ety of lux­u­ri­ous fab­rics will be introduced.
