Dior – Dior’s ethereal collection seeks to answer an imperative question: “What if women ruled the world?” Inspired by Judy Chicago, Maria Grazia Chiuri answers the question with a conversation about femininity and feminism, reimagining the way fashion and the body interact, highlighting visions of the pioneer, the divine, and the artist. Featuring reimagined peplos in metallic golds and silvers reinterpreted as evening dresses and powerful suits with capes, clean silhouettes give structure to and beautifully accentuate the body. Drawing inspiration from classic ideas of goddesses, the collection gives a new life to the vision of Athena, pairing intellectual strength and aesthetic harmony.

Schiaparelli – For this collection, Artistic Director Daniel Roseberry expressed a desire to be able to dress the executive working in New York, all while being able to dress celebrities like Beyonce and Cardi B. The result is a collection that features a variety of looks – from striking pantsuits with slouchy tailoring that can be dressed up or down to stunning evening dresses, all adorned by gorgeous gold accessories and detailing that bring the looks to another level.

Azzaro – Inspired by the house’s past, the Azzaro SS2020 collection is daring, sexy, and powerful, all with a futuristic feel. With sequins and shiny beading, the collection has many stellar statement pieces that make the collection shine. Silhouettes range from oversized to flowy to skintight, making for a range of styles all present in one collection, in sleek black, pastel yellows, and decadent reds.

Givenchy – Bold and experimental, the Givenchy Haute Couture collection is full of flourishing shapes and colours that result in truly unique, standing out amongst the other runways so far. With more tailored silhouettes added in the mix, like a black suit with interesting sleeve details and a white suit dress and cape-like jacket, the collection is a sight to see – from the abstract to the regal.
