To Kill For: Self-Portrait
Cult favourite London-based brand Self-Portrait, founded by Malaysian-born Han Chong, presented a Fall/Winter collection that combines the brand’s love for feminine details and colours with new additions to the lineup: tailored, all-black patent looks and powerful silhouettes.

For Chong, this collection offered room to experiment, given the current political circumstances of our time. While Chong’s signature use of lace and gorgeous pastel colours combine to create beautiful feminine looks, namely dresses, Chong decided to add new garments to this collection, expanding what Self-Portrait has to offer. With this FW collection, you can now be dressed in Self-Portrait from head to toe, from patent rose coloured wide-legged pants to a black sparkly one-shoulder top with a poofy shoulder.
The collection likewise offers a fair share of outerwear, such as a beautiful patent leather calf length trench coat with a belted cinched waist. The focus for these new additions is clear: the finer details such as tailoring and draping matter. But, of course, Chong can’t help but add a touch of sparkle and drama to his pieces to keep things uniquely his, making for a refined, yet vibrant minimalism. All in all, the collection is sexy, feminine, and powerful.
